About The Position
Join a vibrant Albuquerque school community as a Special Education Instructor for the 2025–2026 school year! This full-time, on-site role is perfect for an educator who is passionate about making a real difference, embracing inclusive practices, and helping students thrive academically, socially, and emotionally. In this position, you will create and deliver tailored instruction that meets the unique needs of students with disabilities. You’ll design engaging learning experiences that remove barriers, adapt curriculum to individual strengths, and guide students toward meaningful academic and developmental milestones. Using ongoing assessment and progress monitoring, your instruction will be informed by data, ensuring each student reaches their full potential while meeting all compliance requirements for individualized learning plans.
Requirements
- Candidates should hold a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Special Education or a related field
- Possess an active New Mexico Special Education teaching license (or be eligible to obtain one)
- Demonstrate a solid understanding of IDEA and other special education regulations
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
