Special Education Instructional Assistant
About The Position
Special Education Instructional Assistant Specific Tasks: Work with students throughout the day assisting with behavior and academics. Refocus the student in the classroom, de-escalate negative behavior, recognize and acknowledge positive behavior, and work cooperatively with the classroom teacher and Special Education staff. Work to increase independence in children. Other duties as assigned by the supervising teacher. See the job description for additional information. Requirements
- High School Diploma/GED and passed ParaPro/Para Educator testing (or 60 college credits) required.
