About The Position

Instructional assistant to work with special needs student. Implement individualized behavior support under the direction of the special education teacher. Assist with academic tasks and activities as needed. Provide physical and emotional support to the student. Maintain a positive and supportive classroom environment. Adhere to all school policies and procedures.

Requirements

• Experience working with students with special needs, particularly those with behavioral challenges, preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Patience, empathy, and a positive attitude.
• Demonstrates a sincere desire to work one-on-one with a student.
• Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment with both general education and special education teachers.
