Requirements

Responsibilities

• Monitors and assists students during arrival and departure of buses
• Monitors students in lunch lines and during lunch period and returns students to classrooms in a timely manner
• Monitors students on field trips and other activities outside of the classroom
• Monitors and disciplines students during recess according to policy
• Assists students to the nurse's office in the event of illness or injury
• Assists teachers in leading learning activities, as assigned
• Leads learning activities in the absence of the teacher
• Assists students with math, spelling, and make-up work in the classroom
• Corrects papers for teachers
• Prepares copies of teaching materials developed by teachers
