About The Position
The Special Education Coordinator TOSA position is a temporary role at 0.50 FTE within the Student Services department of Ashland School District. The target start date for this position is August 18, 2025. The individual in this role will work closely with the Director of Student Services and will be responsible for coordinating self-contained district level special education classrooms, managing the abbreviated day process, leading site-based referrals, and overseeing the transition to kindergarten. The coordinator will also serve as a case manager for a special education caseload at a district choice school and act as a district representative in IEP meetings. Participation in regional special education meetings and trainings is also required, along with ensuring compliance with district policies.
