About The Position

Easterseals Western and Central Pennsylvania is a non-profit organization looking to hire a dynamic part-time Level III or Level II Classroom Assistant to work with special needs children ages 3-8 years old at our North School location in Cranberry Township, PA. We are now hiring for our 5 week summer session, June 29-July 31. The hours are M-F 8am-12:30pm working 22.5 hours per week. POSITION REQUIREMENTS-Part-time Classroom Assistant III or II Classroom Assistant III Bachelors (Required) PA Professional Teaching Certificate in Special Education, Elementary Education and/or Early Childhood Education (Required) Special Education Experience: 1 Year (Preferred) PA Private Schools Approved Acceptable PA Criminal Record Check, Child Abuse and Department of Education FBI clearances required Passing of physical examination and TB required Classroom Assistant II Associates (Required) Special Education Experience: 1 Year (Preferred) PA Private Schools Approved Acceptable PA Criminal Record Check, Child Abuse and Department of Education FBI clearances required Passing of physical examination and TB required ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES-Part-time Classroom Assistant III or II Planning and implementing activities to enhance students skills. Assisting in implementing the students IEP. Providing a safe and accepting classroom. Providing 1:1 instruction as needed. Assisting in the instructional program, integration program and behavior management of students Summer School June 29- July 31, 2026 (No School Fri. Requirements

• Classroom Assistant III Bachelors (Required)
• PA Professional Teaching Certificate in Special Education, Elementary Education and/or Early Childhood Education (Required)
• PA Private Schools Approved Acceptable PA Criminal Record Check, Child Abuse and Department of Education FBI clearances required
• Passing of physical examination and TB required
• Classroom Assistant II Associates (Required)
