About The Position

The job of Special Education Bus Aide was established for the purpose/s of assisting/maintaining good behavior of students while they are being transported to and from school; and providing assistance with students' health care. BARGAINING UNIT MEMBERS WILL BE CONSIDERED BEFORE THE GENERAL PUBLIC Work Year : 192 Days Approximately 5 hours per day 6:30am-9:00am; 2:00pm-4:30pm Hours may vary based on need

Requirements

• Must be able to meet the physical demands of the working environment.
• High School Diploma or equivalent REQUIRED.
• occasional lifting, carrying, pushing, and/or pulling
• some climbing and balancing
• frequent stooping, kneeling, crouching, and/or crawling
• significant fine finger dexterity
• Generally the job requires 65% sitting, 30% walking, and 5% standing.
• This job is performed in a generally clean and healthy environment.
