Under the direction of the Assistant Principal and Special Education Coordinator, assist certificated teachers in reinforcing instruction to individuals or small groups of students; monitor and report student progress; perform a variety of clerical duties in support of the academic program; other related duties as required. The Special Education Aide will support the instructional program for deaf and hard-of-hearing (DHH) students in an elementary school setting. This role requires the use of American Sign Language (ASL) and English on a continuing basis to facilitate communication between students, staff, and peers.
