About The Position

This position is a 1.0 FTE located at Dr. Charles R. Drew Elementary School. Responsibilities: Ability to work effectively as a team member with colleagues. Flexible, dependable, and highly organized. Excellent interpersonal skills. Ability to design, implement, and evaluate individual behavior management systems. Experience: Experience working with children with autism. Knowledge of and experience with a variety of strategies for instruction for students with autism. Knowledge and experience with Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA). Experience with the Picture Exchange Communication System. Knowledge and experience using assistive technology. Qualifications: Must have or be eligible for Virginia licensure. Special Education endorsement.
