About The Position
The Special Education Teacher for Moderate to Severe disabilities will work within the District's Special Day Class (SDC) setting, providing specialized academic instruction tailored to the needs of students with disabilities. The position requires planning and implementing individualized education programs (IEPs) that are legally compliant and developmentally appropriate. The teacher will also be responsible for assessing student progress, communicating with parents and staff, and collaborating with regular education teachers to ensure the success of special education students.
