Requirements

Active Massachusetts teaching license in Moderate Disabilities 5–12
Experience teaching middle and/or high school students
Comfort with math curriculum delivery in special education settings
Background working with students with emotional or behavioral challenges
Strong collaboration skills and commitment to trauma-informed educational practices
Bachelor’s degree required

Master’s degree a plus

Responsibilities

Teach science-based content aligned with state standards to students in grades 5–12 with moderate disabilities
Develop and implement IEPs with input from families and clinical teams
Use differentiated, data-informed instructional methods to meet a wide range of learning needs
Support students with behavioral and emotional regulation within a structured, supportive classroom environment
Collaborate with teaching teams, clinicians, and support staff to create a safe, inclusive space
Engage in school events, team meetings, and professional development
