About The Position

Special Education Paraprofessional will provide instructional and behavioral support for students with special needs. Transferring/lifting of students may be required. Preferred candidate will have experience working with special needs students.

Requirements

• In order to work as a Special Education Paraprofessional, you must meet the state requirement of being Highly Qualified within 10 days of your first day of work.
• To be considered Highly Qualified, you must have ONE of the following: A Bachelor's Degree, or An Associates Degree, or 60+ credits of post-secondary education, or A passing score on the ParaPro Exam.
• Please be prepared to submit documentation in support of your qualifications. Acceptable documentation includes transcripts from the college/university or a copy of the ParaPro Exam report.
