About The Position
The Special Collections Archivist at Cold Spring Harbor Laboratory will manage and enhance significant scientific collections, including the Genentech Center for the History of Molecular Biology and Biotechnology, the BGI Nobel Laureates Archives, and the Rare Book Collection. This role involves providing reference services, overseeing collection management, and promoting the archives through outreach initiatives. The archivist will work with historically significant materials that trace the development of modern molecular biology over the past 130 years, contributing to the preservation and visibility of these collections.
