About The Position

This position provides physical and emotional support to patients of all ages as they adapt to permanent lifestyle changes. Patients are typically on the unit for approximately 2-3 weeks, allowing the RN to significantly impact their road to recovery. MercyOne Northeast Iowa provides expert health care to eight counties, offering excellent, personalized care close to home to communities in the Cedar Valley. With 491 licensed beds across three medical centers (MercyOne Waterloo Medical Center, MercyOne Cedar Falls Medical Center, MercyOne Oelwein Medical Center), each providing 24-hour emergency lifesaving care, MercyOne is a critical healthcare provider. MercyOne Waterloo Medical Center is an Area Level III Trauma Center and an accredited chest pain center. MercyOne Cedar Falls Medical Center and MercyOne Oelwein Medical Center both hold Community Level IV Trauma Designation. With over 2,500 colleagues, MercyOne is one of the largest employers in Northeast Iowa. MercyOne Medical Group – Northeast Iowa includes more than 30 primary care, pediatric, internal medicine, and specialty clinics throughout Black Hawk, Bremer, Buchanan, Benton, Butler, Fayette, and Tama counties.
