About The Position
The Department of Information Systems and Business Analytics (IS/BAN) at Hofstra University invites applications for a non-tenure-track assistant or associate professor in the field of Business Analytics for the Spring 2025 semester. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: teaching courses in Business Analytics/ AI at the undergraduate and graduate levels, including machine learning (ML), deep learning (DL), natural language processing (NLP), computer vision, AI Ethics, and AI in healthcare. The candidate is expected to demonstrate evidence or potential of performing high-impact scholarly activities in the AI field by publishing in peer-reviewed journals and presenting at academic conferences. Additional duties may include committee work and student orientation.
