About The Position
The Special Asset Group (SAG) Sr. Manager is responsible for the oversight of resolving distressed loans in order to minimize losses to the Bank. This role involves overseeing and resolving a portfolio of distressed loans, designing and implementing customized approaches for each loan relationship to maximize recoveries, and responding effectively to changing dynamics such as bankruptcies and litigation. The manager will communicate directly with customers and bank employees, assess collectability of indebtedness, recommend outside counsel, and ensure appropriate due diligence for real estate loans. The position requires collaboration with line officers and maintaining well-documented credit files.
