About The Position

Requirements

Responsibilities

• Patrol terminals, yards, right of ways, and other railroad property to ensure security.
• Safeguard property, employees, patrons, and goods in transit.
• Conduct inspections, background checks, and criminal investigations as assigned.
• Implement prevention techniques, inspect friends, apply security devices, and conduct surveillances to deter crimes against NS property.
• Respond to police calls for service and act as a first responder, facilitating effective coordination with fire and rescue, hazmat, and environmental law enforcement.
