About The Position

The FBI is seeking Special Agents with an education or teaching background to leverage their analytical skills and ability to communicate complex information effectively. This role involves protecting the American people and upholding the Constitution through various investigative and law enforcement activities. Special Agents will undergo rigorous training and have opportunities to work on complex cases, requiring a commitment to physical fitness and adaptability to various assignments.

Requirements

• Must be a U.S. citizen.
• Must be at least 23 years old and not have reached your 37th birthday on appointment.
• Must be able to obtain a Top Secret SCI Clearance.
• Must have two years of full-time professional work experience.
• Must possess a valid driver's license with at least six months of driving experience.
• Must have a bachelor's degree or higher from a U.S.-accredited college or university.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to strict standards of conduct and undergo a rigorous background investigation.
• Pass all physical fitness requirements and maintain a high level of fitness throughout your career.
• Complete approximately 18 weeks of training at the FBI Academy in Quantico, VA.
• Be available to transfer to one of the FBI's 56 Field Offices after graduation.
• Work a minimum of a 50-hour workweek, including irregular hours and being on-call 24/7.
• Participate in arrests, execute search warrants, and conduct raids as necessary.
