Responsible technical and independent professional work involving the receipt, analysis, and investigation of citizen complaints of civil and/or criminal misconduct alleged against employees of the city; and related work as required.
Possession of a valid driver's license
A Bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice or closely related field and two (2) years of experience conducting administrative, security and/or criminal investigations, OR
A high school diploma or G.E.D and six (6) years of experience conducting administrative, security and/or criminal investigations.
A valid Peace Officers Standard of Training (P.O.S.T.) Certificate is preferred but not required.
