About The Position

The Quality Assurance & Food Safety (QA & FS) Analytics Specialist is responsible for ensuring the accuracy, consistency, and reliability of data used across the QA/FS department. This role involves gathering, reviewing, and analyzing relevant data through applied statistics and data visualization tools to support decision-making and compliance with regulatory requirements.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Data Science, or related discipline.
• Minimum of one year of data analytics experience, preferably in food science or food safety.
• Demonstrated quantitative and analytical skills with experience in delivering measurable business outcomes.
• Strong applied statistical analysis experience.
• Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Experience with SQL, Tableau, Python, R, or Power BI for data mining and visualization.

Responsibilities

• Assist the QA & FS Data Analytics Manager with translating business objectives into detailed requirements and data models.
• Identify, gather, clean, and prepare QA & FS datasets from various sources to ensure data accuracy and consistency.
• Perform data analysis to identify trends and forecast QA/FS performance indicators.
• Create visually appealing reports, dashboards, and visualizations to communicate QA/FS data insights.
• Interpret datasets and apply critical thinking to explain practical implications of data findings.
• Identify opportunities to improve and automate QA & FS data collection and reporting processes.
• Translate business needs into concrete data requirements and handle large datasets.
