Requirements

• High School Grad or equivalent.
• 2 years related experience.
• Experience in Sterile Processing & Distribution (SPD).

Responsibilities

• Plan, teach, and evaluate educational programs for sterile processing and case cart staff.
• Responsible for new staff onboarding, orientation development, implementation, and evaluation.
• Participate in organizational teams and committees that plan, evaluate and implement educational offerings and programs.
• Provide expertise in the development of educational offerings and implementation of educational programs.
• Interpret and develop policies regarding regulatory standards and standard work.
• Act as liaison to local schools of SPD training and provide input for student clinical experiences.
• Participate in and use evidence-based practice and research to promote professional development.
• Adhere to the AdventHealth Corporate Compliance Plan and all applicable local, state, federal regulations.
• Participate in outstanding customer service and maintain respectful relationships.
