About The Position

The SPD Director of Operations at Station Casinos is responsible for overseeing the facility's operations, ensuring compliance with company standards, and managing various teams including maintenance, security, and rewards center staff. This role involves scheduling, project management, and financial oversight, with a focus on maintaining high operational standards and effective communication with vendors.

Requirements

  • Extremely organized self-starter with strong leadership skills.
  • Ability to plan and follow projects through to completion in a timely, efficient, and cost-effective manner.
  • Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines.
  • Prior management/supervisory experience.
  • Bilingual strongly preferred.
  • Financial and budgeting experience/proficiency.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee and schedule Internal Maintenance Team Members including Lead Porter, Casino Porters, and Utility Porter.
  • Manage the Security/Safety Manager and Security Department, including scheduling and assigning projects to property engineers.
  • Responsible for all property remodeling and renovations.
  • Oversee Rewards Center Team Members, including Slot Marketing Coordinator and Slot Marketing Reps.
  • Coordinate all aspects of special events.
  • Act as Manager On Duty (MOD) and perform back-up security responsibilities.
  • Maintain vendor communication and relations.
  • Obtain and maintain all applicable insurance certificates of liability.
  • Responsible for departmental budgets and conduct monthly financial reviews.
