Our company is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Specialist, Supply Chain Management Modeling Analyst to join our Value Chain Management (VCM) organization. As a Modelling Analyst, you will play a crucial role in supporting our VCM teams across the Small Molecule, Vaccines, and Biologics operating units. This is an exciting opportunity to develop and implement data models and analytics solutions that will drive our supply chain strategy and decision-making processes.   • Partner with VCM Leads and cross-functional teams to understand business processes and translate defined needs into data and analytics tasks.
  • Build, validate, and maintain components of operations-research and analytics solutions (e.g., data pipelines, parameter prep, scenario runs) using established patterns.
  • Support network capacity models in Python (data shaping, parameterization, run orchestration, results checks); contribute to enhancements.
  • Prepare dashboards and analyses (e.g., Power BI/Qlik/Spotfire) that summarize results and support decision making; document assumptions and data lineage.
  • Contribute to process standardization by following SOPs, templates, and code conventions; suggest incremental improvements.
  • Collaborate with Finance, Supply Chain, Technology, Quality, CMC, and VCM teams to gather inputs and share findings; escalate issues promptly.
  • Manage your work to meet deadlines, making decisions within established guidelines and policies; seek help on non-standard requests.
  • Participate in short-term projects or workstreams; may coordinate a small task or sub-workstream as assigned.
  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Engineering, Mathematics, Computer Science, Data Science, or another related scientific or technical field.
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in Data Analytics, Data Engineering, Strategic Analyst or related role.
  • Demonstrated ability to design, develop, and deploy end to end data solutions & applications.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in Python or related programming language.
  • Experience querying databases (SQL).
  • Understanding of databases and relational data.
  • Demonstrated leadership and communication skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders and teams with different priorities.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail; comfortable working with structured data sets and following standard procedures.
  • Experience with at least one analytics and visualization tool such as Qlik, Spotfire, or Power BI.
  • Proficiency in Office 365 Tools.
  • Understanding of end-to-end supply chain operations (Plan, Source, Make, Deliver).
  • Familiarity with Long Range Operations Planning (LROP) and supply planning.
  • Basic familiarity with version control technologies such as Git and Github.
  • Introductory exposure to Azure or AWS cloud architectures.
  • Understanding of mathematical modeling concepts such as linear algebra and/or convex optimization.
  • Cross-functional skills and operations experience.
  • Knowledge of functions that support the business, including Supply Chain, Finance, Regulatory, Technology, Quality, Compliance, Manufacturing Operations, and Commercial Operations.
