  • Experience with enterprise systems, including servers, storage, databases, and network.
  • Focus on designing, developing and managing the DATA ARCHIVAL products that enable us to archive, retrieve and manage the data.
  • Utilize Oracle/PLSQL for database programming and work with Hive databases.
  • Collaborating with business and IT teams to develop Data Archive solutions for Application retirement, Decommissioning and Live Data Archival.
  • Design a highly available architecture ensuring services can be consumed as self-service via API/portal by various Product / upstream Infrastructure teams.
  • Provide help with strategic direction and oversight for the design, development and support of Data Archival infrastructure that includes the full life cycle of technical architecture, engineering and infrastructure operations.
  • Responsible for designing, implementing, and ensuring the maintenance and compliance to disaster recovery/continuity policies, procedures as needed.
  • Regularly review cloud infrastructure costs and optimize spend where possible.
  • Collaborate with Security, IT Compliance, Engineering, Products, and QA department and continually drive KPI improvements in support of our Hybrid Cloud vision.
  • Experience with ITIL, Remedy/ServiceNow, CMDB, and Change Control.
  • Work with IT leadership to identify, develop, and drive long-term strategies and initiatives that streamline the overall IT business model.
  • Act as a subject matter expert and offer help and advice to colleagues from various other teams.
  • High School Diploma required; Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, IT Engineering, Math, or equivalent preferred.
  • 4+ years in designing & developing scalable and high-performance Data archival & retrieval solutions.
  • Experience on Solix CDP 2.6 or above with sound knowledge of various functionalities which Solix offers such as Active Archiving, Retention Policies, Reports, Forms, etc.
  • Ability to connect with customers to understand the needs better and able to handle escalations for issues and get feedback for future improvements.
  • Demonstrate a high level of business acumen; ability to get along well with diverse personalities—flexibility is a key.
  • Able to develop and adapt business processes after evaluating multiple solutions.
  • Fluent in English, in both oral and written communication.
  • Automation CI/CD methodologies.
  • Infrastructure as a Code (IaC) automation technologies and tools (Ansible, Python are preferred; CloudFormation or Terraform is a plus).
  • AWS Cloud (PaaS, IaaS).
  • System Development Lifecycle (SDLC).
  • Oracle, SQL (other databases: CITUS, Hive, etc.).
  • End-to-end application archiving for structured, semi-structured and unstructured data from different databases and file sources.
  • Designing and deploying AWS Services like Elastic Compute (EC2), Storages (S3, EBS), EMR, Lambda, Cloud Watch, Cloud Formation and RDS.
  • Working with Agile Frameworks.
  • Integrating archival products with databases, file systems and cloud storage.
  • Comfortable performing multifaceted projects in conjunction with normal activities in a demanding, fast-paced work environment.
  • Tactical, as well as strategic thinking and creative problem solving.
  • Ability to drive conversations in meetings/calls and very good presentation skills.
