SUMMARY: The SPC technician collects products and performs Statistical Process Control Testing; Monitors the temperature of both product and product marination; Keeps record of process controls; and provides production assistance as required. In performing these duties the SPC technician uses basic math skills and statistical tools.

• High School Diploma or equivalent

• Previous food processing experience

Responsibilities

• Read and write fluently in English
• To monitor the process control to meet federal, state, local, and customer requirements and expectation and to provide assistance to production when required
• Be able to perform basic math skills
• Be able to perform basic record keeping
• Be able to pay attention to detail
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
• Must be able to use basic statistical tools to include VCL, LCL and make correct decision making skills to guide acceptable SPC standards
