About The Position

Responsible for monitoring and improving quality control processes in a manufacturing environment using statistical methods. The role focuses on data analysis, training personnel in quality tools, and ensuring products meet quality standards to reduce defects and optimize efficiency.

Requirements

Proficiency in SPC software tools (e.g., NWA, JMP) and data collection systems.
Familiarity with quality management standards (ISO 9001, AS9100).
Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
Excellent communication (verbal and written) and interpersonal skills for training and collaboration.
Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
Leadership and mentorship capabilities.
Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field, or extensive relevant work experience.
5+ years’ experience in quality management, statistical analysis, and process improvement

Nice To Haves

Six Sigma or Certified Quality Engineer (CQE) certifications strongly preferred

Responsibilities

Statistical Analysis: Prepare, update, and maintain statistical files and databases. Conduct statistical evaluations of new and existing equipment to determine process capability and performance.
Quality Assurance: Monitor real-time manufacturing data to identify trends and process variances. Implement quality control measures and ensure all work complies with relevant regulations, standards (e.g., ISO9001, AS9100), and customer specifications.
Training & Support: Provide technical support and training to manufacturing and engineering personnel in the application of statistical methods, problem-solving techniques, and the use of SPC software.
Process Improvement: Assist with the development of suitable Statistical Process Control methods. Lead or support Six Sigma and Lean Process Improvement teams.
Coordination & Communication: Act as a liaison between different teams (production, quality, management, and external customers/suppliers) to ensure effective collaboration and communication regarding process improvements.
Documentation & Reporting: Maintain accurate records of test results, defects, and other key metrics. Generate reports on plant performance, project plans, and daily activities for management and stakeholders.
Gauge Management: Monitor and maintain Measurement System Analysis (MSA) gauges, including conducting Gauge R&R, stability, and accuracy studies, and supporting calibration programs.
