Group/Division The KLA Services team headquartered in Milpitas, CA is our service organization that consists of Service Sales and Marketing, Spares Supply Chain management, Field Operations, Engineering, Product Training, and Technical Support. The KLA Services organization partners with our field teams and customers in all business sectors to maintain the high performance and productivity of our products through a flexible portfolio of services. Our comprehensive services include: proactive management of tools to identify and improve performance; expertise in optics, image processing and motion control with worldwide service engineers, 24/7 technical support teams and knowledge management systems; and an extensive parts network to ensure worldwide availability of parts. Job Description/Preferred Qualifications Proactively lead collaborative efforts with product planning and buyers to resolve inventory and supply issues, focus areas for the short term and extended timeframes Work with stakeholders to resolve chronic issues with suppliers such as lead time variance, fill rate, and data quality, and to optimize KLA planning systems to respond to supplier variances Proactively utilize Baxter Planning system and other tools to review inventory projections & supply-demand to prevent potential shortages or excessive inventory, inclusive of planning at the warehouse level Proactively manage short- and long-term supply plans, ensuring we meet service level commitments. These plans involve but are not limited to end of life, obsolescence, and part transition management Ability to assess purchasing options, optimizing and pre-ordering as needed to reduce costs and improve customer experience levels Tracks and reconciles weekly/monthly metrics versus established targets Participate in development of analytics to predict future risks, increase accuracy in supply planning, and provide insight for executive decision-making around spares Execute structured problem-solving and ensure clear communication to stakeholders on constraints, root causes, and actions Ensures adherence to company supply chain management standard methodologies, policies, procedures and compliance requirements.

Requirements

  • High proficiency in MS Excel; MS Access, Data Base, SQL.
  • Good to have analytical skills utilizing statistical techniques, formulas, and calculations
  • Critical thinking and strong analytical skills: ability to collect, organize, and analyze data to support demand and supply optimization
  • Be passionate about continuous process and results improvements
  • Should enjoy an exciting and fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to work well on cross-functional teams. Must be a teammate.
  • Excellent communication/presentation, organizational, analytical, leadership, and interpersonal skills
  • Good communication skill in English, both written and verbal

  • Uses professional concepts and company objectives to resolve sophisticated issues in creative and effective ways.
  • Bachelor’s degree plus 5 years of related experience, Master's Degree plus 3 years of related experience, or a PhD plus zero years experience preferably in a relevant field such as Business, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Data Analytics.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with Tableau, Power BI or other business intelligence/analytical tools/services
  • Experience with SAP MRP and ERP system

Responsibilities
