Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in Education, Spanish, World Languages, or a related field
  • Fluency in Spanish and English (written and verbal proficiency)
  • Ability to successfully pass a state and federal background check
  • Strong communication skills and commitment to family engagement
  • To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Responsibilities

  • Develop engaging Spanish language curriculum and classroom resources aligned with elementary learning standards
  • Create a classroom environment that supports immersive language acquisition and student-centered learning
  • Integrate Spanish instruction with STEAM themes and cross-curricular connections
  • Differentiate instruction to support diverse learners and varying language proficiency levels
  • Use formative and summative assessments to measure student growth and guide instruction
  • Collaborate with grade-level teams and school leadership to enhance the overall student experience
  • Communicate regularly and effectively with parents to support student achievement and language development
  • Incorporate culturally responsive teaching practices to promote inclusion and global awareness
