About The Position

Spanish/French Teacher (0.5 FTE, Grades 6-8) Needed Location: Williston Central School This position will remain open until filled. Williston Central School (WCS) has an opening for a middle level grade Spanish and/or French teacher. We are seeking a dynamic, energetic, collegial, and innovative professional to join our middle-level education team. Requirements

Licensed in Vermont for K-12 Spanish and French, with demonstrated fluency in reading, writing and speaking
A team player who is flexible and collaborative
Strong background in planning, implementing and assessing a standards-based curriculum
Thorough knowledge of the ACTFL National Standards
Strong classroom management skills
Ability to motivate each student to cultivate an appreciation for the learning of a world language and the cultures of the peoples who speak them
Desire to effectively integrate 21st-century technology into the world language classroom
