About The Position

This position is primarily responsible for ensuring that students of New Creations gain insight and knowledge into the world of an additional specialty, such as Music, Language, Sport, etc. Enrichment Teachers at New Creations are responsible for teaching infant through preschool-aged children. We are seeking an inspiring teacher who helps students grow in their enjoyment, appreciation, and performance of the specialty area through a variety of planned age-appropriate experiences based on the monthly curriculum theme. Requirements

• Must be 18 years old
• Must be teacher qualified under CHS Rule 3 standards
• Must have one year of experience in an Early Childhood Education setting
• Ability to motivate children
• Determination and perseverance
• Enthusiasm and imagination
• Verbal communication skills
• Associate (Required)
• Big Lake, MN: Relocate before starting work (Required)

Nice To Haves

• Degree in education or your field area preferred
• A minimum of 5 years of teaching experience preferred
• Teaching: 5 years (Preferred)
• Early Childhood: 1 year (Preferred)

Responsibilities

• Starting at 9:00 AM at the center, and spending a portion of time in each of the classrooms
• Infants receive 10 minutes of instruction
• Toddlers receive 15 minutes of instruction
• Preschoolers receive 20 minutes of instruction
• The enrichment teacher will plan a balanced monthly program that incorporates the monthly curriculum theme at the center as well as integrating faith components
• Differentiate curriculum to meet the needs of different age groups (infants-preschool)
• Create summary sheets of lessons with an extension component to send home with families.
• Assisting site directors by planning, rehearsing, and directing students in events as needed.
• Other duties as assigned
