About The Position
Facilitates total communication between Spanish Only speaking employees and department management. Assures Spanish Only speaking employees are properly trained and facilitates understanding of departmental and company policies and procedures.
Requirements
- Associates degree/equivalent.
- Two (2) years' experience in Spanish/English language interpretation.
- Demonstrated proficiency in Spanish and English languages, oral, written & reverse interpreting.
- Certified Spanish-English interpreter or translator.
- Comprehensive knowledge of Spanish-Only speaking culture and the needs and concerns of Spanish-Only speaking persons.
- Strong human relations, oral and written communication skills in both Spanish and English.
Responsibilities
- Assists in the development of the Spanish Only speaking programs/activities.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
