About The Position

The Warehouse Supervisor position at Factory Motor Parts is responsible for assisting the Battery Operations Manager in overseeing the daily operations of the Automotive Battery Distribution Warehouse. This role involves managing warehouse staff, ensuring compliance with operational procedures, and maintaining efficient workflow in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent (G.E.D.)
• 5-6 years of previous experience in a warehouse/distribution environment.
• Ability to lift 75-100 lbs consistently.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Moderate/Extreme knowledge of the Automotive Industry, Operations, Safety Processes, Programs, and Procedures.
• Organizational skills and ability to multi-task priorities.
• Strong interpersonal and leadership skills.

Nice To Haves

• Bi-lingual is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Battery Operations Manager with day-to-day operations of the warehouse.
• Supervise performance of warehouse employees and designate tasks to maintain efficiency.
• Train and coach staff on company procedures and expectations.
• Communicate with internal and external entities such as freight companies and customers.
• Monitor compliance regarding inbound and outbound paperwork.
• Complete performance evaluations on direct reports.
• Operate computer systems and software for scheduling and tracking operations.
• Oversee execution of inbound and outbound procedures.
• Inspect D.C. power equipment to ensure safety and maintenance standards are met.
• Monitor metrics in Warehouse Management System (WMS).
• Perform any other duties as assigned.
