Responsibilities

• Answer phones promptly and professionally using a multi-line phone system.
• Screen and route calls to appropriate staff and take messages promptly.
• Schedule appointments and surgeries according to hospital guidelines.
• Enter accurate charges and explain invoices to clients.
• Collect payment when services are rendered, including processing credit cards and checks.
• Verify the eligibility of clients with charge accounts.
• Check medical and computer records for accurate client information.
• Fill prescription refill forms and provide routine administration instructions to clients.
• Advise clients on preventative care and retail items.
