Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience in a receptionist or customer service role (veterinary setting preferred).
• Knowledge of basic veterinary terminology is a plus.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency with computer software and phone systems.
• Ability to handle challenging situations with tact and professionalism.

• Flexibility to work weekdays, weekends, and some holidays.

Responsibilities

• Warmly greet clients and their pets upon arrival, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere.
• Answer phone calls promptly and assist with inquiries or appointment scheduling.
• Schedule appointments accurately using Cornerstone software to optimize clinic efficiency.
• Process client check-ins and check-outs, collect payments, and manage financial transactions.
• Maintain and update client records with accuracy and confidentiality.
• Educate clients about our services, pricing, and policies.
• Coordinate with the veterinary team to streamline patient flow and enhance client satisfaction.
• Keep the reception area clean and organized.
• Display empathy and professionalism in sensitive or emotional client interactions.
• Stay informed about clinic services, promotions, and any policy updates.
