About The Position

The Superintendent III at Lumin8 Transportation Technologies is responsible for leading the daily coordination of field foremen and site crews on various electrical, transportation, and roadway lighting projects. This role involves ensuring compliance with safety regulations, managing schedules, and communicating effectively with both the central office and customers regarding project resources and timelines.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Minimum six years of combined related experience, including Construction Technician I, Construction Technician II, and Construction Foreman I.
• Ability to operate and perform basic field maintenance on equipment such as aerial lift/bucket trucks, trenchers, and cranes.
• Proficient with basic and specialized hand tools and power tools.
• Ability to read plans and schematic diagrams proficiently.
• Advanced computer skills.
• Ability to efficiently supervise others and solve problems effectively.
• Ability to perform heavy physical work under adverse weather conditions.
• Ability to follow and transmit clear written and verbal instructions.
• Effective communication skills with co-workers, supervisors, and the public.

Nice To Haves

• IMSA Traffic Signal Level III Field Technician Certification or Master Electrician License with appropriate related experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily coordination of field foremen and site crews on electrical, transportation, and roadway lighting projects.
• Implement company and regulatory safety regulations.
• Communicate with central office and customers regarding schedule and resource management.
• Supervise and train all subordinate employees assigned to the project.
• Assist Project Manager with material ordering, scheduling, and utility locates.
• Complete and submit required personal and project paperwork.
• Follow requirements for utility locates and permits.
• Maintain a neat and professional appearance.
• Communicate effectively with customers and other contractors.
• Fulfill the company tool list requirements.
• Maintain and renew required certifications and licenses.
• Responsible for assigned company vehicle and typically report to work at the job site.
• Abide by all company safety rules and wear proper PPE while on the job site.
