About The Position

The Studio Manager (SM) at BoxUnion is responsible for executing all sales, fitness, and operational functions within the studio. This role focuses on providing an exceptional member experience, fostering a team environment, and ensuring the financial success of the club. The SM manages end-to-end operations, including resource allocation, scheduling, team performance, and customer service, while upholding company policies as a brand ambassador.

Requirements

  • 3-5 years of prior management experience in health and fitness, luxury retail, or hospitality.
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
  • Experience managing trend reports and demonstrated analytical skills.
  • Ability to multi-task and manage client and team member concerns with a welcoming energy.
  • Fitness enthusiast with boxing experience preferred, but not mandatory.
  • High School Diploma/GED required; college degree strongly preferred.
  • CPR and First Aid certification preferred.
  • Flexible hours, with the ability to work early mornings, evenings, and weekends.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in luxury retail or hospitality management.
  • Knowledge of fitness industry trends and customer engagement strategies.

Responsibilities

  • Hit monthly revenue targets through membership enrollment and retention, class package sales, private training, equipment, and retail sales.
  • Foster and maintain an engaged, high-performing team aligned with the company's mission, vision, and values.
  • Manage all aspects of employment and development, including resourcing, scheduling, and performance evaluations.
  • Facilitate ongoing training to ensure employees are proficient in sales, operations, fitness, and brand standards.
  • Collaborate with Regional Leadership and Corporate to deliver the club sales funnel through lead generation and marketing efforts.
  • Cultivate a community-focused club culture that delivers high member satisfaction and profitability.
  • Delegate, oversee, and lead all club operations and member engagement activities.
  • Monitor club appearance to ensure a clean, friendly, and well-maintained environment.
  • Execute and oversee employee interviewing, training, scheduling, and payroll processes.
  • Adhere to operational policies and maintain compliance with State & Federal employment regulations.
  • Meet/exceed key performance indicators for club metrics through regular reporting.
