About The Position

Requirements

• 1+ years of related experience in telecommunication systems.
• Associates Degree in a related technical discipline or equivalent combination of education, technical training, or work experience.
• US Citizenship required.

Responsibilities

• Install, remove, maintain, modify, troubleshoot, and repair telecommunication equipment.
• Run, pull, terminate, and splice cables; install routers, switches, multiplexors, and cable trays.
• Provide reports and complete requests for new service.
• Determine methodology for installing telephone service or other telecommunication technology.
• Assess appropriateness of moderate equipment changes or modifications including call switches, test trunks, and test links.
• Respond to emergency calls in the event of a system failure.
• Make precision adjustments on switches, relays, and other electrical control devices for maximum operating efficiency.
• Verify services by testing circuits, equipment, and alarms; identify, correct, or escalate problems.
