About The Position

The Security Officer at Western & Southern Financial Group is responsible for ensuring a safe working environment for associates by protecting company assets and controlling access to property. This full-time position involves monitoring security systems, conducting patrols, and responding to alarms, all while maintaining a vigilant presence on-site.

Requirements

• Proven experience with military, state, country, or municipal police agency or private police training.
• Ability to make sound decisions and use good judgment in daily responsibilities and emergencies.
• Willingness to work any shift and conduct interior and exterior patrols by foot.
• Physical capability to stand and walk for extended periods.
• Ability to climb steps, reach, bend, kneel, and crouch, as well as defend oneself against attack.
• Capacity to lift a maximum of 25 pounds.
• Visual acuity to observe conditions and situations necessary for security and to read various documents.
• Ability to hear auditory alarms and observe closed-circuit security monitors.

Responsibilities

• Provide a safe working environment for company associates.
