The Security Guard position at Omni Logistics involves ensuring the safety and security of the facility by monitoring premises, controlling access, and responding to security concerns. This part-time role requires effective communication and adherence to security protocols, contributing to a safe working environment.

Logging inbound and outbound trucks
Monitoring premises to prevent theft, violence, or infractions of rules
Thoroughly examining doors, windows, and gates to ensure proper function and security
Warning violators of premise rules and regulations
Reporting facility issues such as fire hazards and leaking water pipes
Monitoring and controlling access to the facility by checking identification and credentials of personnel and visitors
Operating gate and surveillance systems to ensure entry and exit
Conducting routine patrols of the facility to detect and report any security concerns or breaches
Enforcing company policies and procedures related to security and access control in alignment with CTPAT guidelines
Communicating effectively with team members and reporting any irregularities to management
Assisting with emergency response as needed and following all safety protocols

Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills
Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing in the English language for public interaction and report writing
Familiarity with CTPAT guidelines is required
Must be bilingual
Must have High School Diploma or GED

Help in other areas as needed
