About the position

The Administrative Program Assistant position at Western Oregon University provides essential administrative support to the Chair of the Business/Economics Division. Responsibilities

  • Provide confidential administrative support to the Chair of the Business/Economics Division.
  • Assist with monitoring, auditing, and directing projects requiring research and analysis.
  • Collect data for program evaluation and track enrollment trends for schedule planning.
  • Monitor advising loads and assist with onboarding new faculty.
  • Manage the office and the Service & Supplies budget.
  • Assist with course scheduling and report faculty workloads.
  • Implement and monitor procedures to meet priorities set by the division chair.

Requirements

  • Three years of office experience, including two years at full performance level.
  • Experience generating documents and leading work responsibilities or coordinating office procedures.

Nice-to-haves

  • Familiarity with various computer hardware and software systems.
  • Strong interpersonal skills for extensive contact with students and faculty.
