About The Position

Ro Health is urgently hiring Registered Nurses to teach a Nurse Assistant Training Program in the Alvord area for the 2024-2025 school year. This part-time position focuses on school health nursing with a specialty in pediatrics, offering a flexible schedule with no weekends or holidays.

Requirements

• California State Nursing License
• Current CPR/BLS Card
• Current Negative TB Result
• 2 years of experience as a licensed nurse
• 1 year of experience in providing care to chronically ill or elderly patients in various healthcare settings.
• 1 year of experience planning, implementing, and evaluating educational programs in nursing or 24 hours of continuing education in nursing education.

Nice To Haves

• BLS Certification (Preferred)
• Experience with seizure disorders
• Diastat experience
• Insulin injections or insulin pumps experience
• G-Tube feeding and medications experience
• Tracheostomy experience

Responsibilities

• Teach Nurse Assistant Training Program to students.
• Provide care and support to students with various health needs.
• Administer medications and treatments as required.
• Handle behavioral issues and provide appropriate interventions.
• Plan, implement, and evaluate educational programs in nursing.
