About The Position

Ironwood Cancer & Research Centers is seeking Registered Nurses with Oncology experience to join their nursing staff at infusion centers. The role involves providing comprehensive cancer care in a supportive environment, focusing on outpatient chemotherapy administration and patient management. The ideal candidate will demonstrate compassion, professionalism, and strong clinical skills while working within a multi-disciplinary team.

Requirements

• Significant experience in an Oncology outpatient setting.
• OCN certification or ONS Chemotherapy/Biotherapy Providers care required.
• Current CPR Certification required.
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred.
• Current AZ Board of Nursing RN license required.
• Valid Driver's License.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with electronic medical records and charting.
• Strong leadership and team-building skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Administer chemotherapy and manage patient flow in an outpatient setting.
• Demonstrate advanced problem-solving skills related to chemotherapy administration.
• Communicate effectively with patients, staff, and family members.
• Maintain awareness and practice of required PPE during chemotherapy administration.
• Utilize electronic medical records for patient documentation and charting.
