About The Position

The Registered Nurse (RN) in the ICU at Mercy Hospital of Folsom is responsible for providing and supervising care to critically ill patients and their families. This role involves utilizing a holistic approach to patient care, ensuring a safe and confidential environment, and demonstrating leadership while maintaining professional development. The RN will work in a dynamic 8-bed ICU unit with 24-hour intensivist coverage, focusing on both medical and surgical critical care patients.

Requirements

• At least 1+ year as a Registered Nurse in an acute care critical care unit.
• Current California RN License.
• BLS and ACLS certifications from the American Heart Association.
• Other certifications may be required.

Nice To Haves

• CCRN certification preferred.
