About The Position

The Regional Sales Manager at WasteXpress Environmental is responsible for leading a sales team focused on hazardous waste disposal services in the Pacific Northwest. This role combines sales management with direct sales responsibilities, requiring the manager to achieve annual revenue targets while coaching and guiding a team of Business Development and Inside Sales professionals. The position emphasizes exceptional customer service, market analysis, and strategic growth in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

  • Valid Driver's License required.
  • High School Diploma or GED required; Bachelor's degree in business, marketing/sales, environmental science, or relevant field preferred.
  • Minimum 3-5 years of sales management experience required.
  • 5-10 years of sales experience in the hazardous waste/environmental sector required.
  • Proven sales management and business development/sales track record required.
  • Working knowledge of 40 and 49 CFRs required.
  • Strong communication, presentation, and organization skills required.
  • Ability to maintain strict confidentiality of all employee and company information required.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in commercial and petroleum construction.
  • Familiarity with industrial cleaning and hazardous waste disposal services.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the WasteXpress sales team by example as a Player-Coach.
  • Achieve individual and team sales revenue targets.
  • Manage a sales pipeline and ensure CRM usage among team members.
  • Direct, guide, and coach a geographically focused Business Development Sales Team.
  • Develop quotes and proposals for clients and respond to RFPs and RFQs.
  • Provide regular updates to senior management on sales performance and market conditions.
  • Oversee the sales budget for the region and allocate resources efficiently.
  • Build and maintain long-term relationships with customers.
  • Attend conferences, meetings, and industry events.
