About The Position

The Revenue Cycle Operations Analyst at XiFin plays a crucial role in supporting various billing specialties, including Laboratory, Pathology, Radiology, and Medical Devices. This position focuses on analyzing revenue cycle trends, generating reports, creating dashboards, and implementing process improvements to enhance business efficiency and revenue generation. The analyst will leverage data to provide insights and analytics that aid in operational management and decision-making, contributing to the company's evolution as a data-driven organization.

Requirements

• BA/BS in Business, Finance, Healthcare IT/Mgt, or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 3 years of progressive experience in revenue cycle, billing, and/or strategic analytics role.
• MS Excel experience required.
• Solid experience and understanding of medical billing software and practices.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with data visualization tools.
• Knowledge of healthcare regulations and compliance standards.

Responsibilities

• Compile and review customer revenue cycle details including accounts receivable, error/denial trends, and payment posting trends.
• Create and provide dashboards performing thorough analysis of appeal success rates, expected price discrepancies, and other financial metrics.
• Provide customer reporting and present analytics to aid in managing and streamlining operations.
• Engage in continuous improvement projects around automating system workflow, data gathering, and reporting.
• Monitor the ongoing effectiveness of processes and adjust as necessary.
• Audit offshore work based on business and workflow needs.
• Complete ad-hoc projects and reports for team and business partners as required.
• Assist in operational/RCM tasks based on business needs.
