About The Position

The Production Supervisor at Albertsons' milk facility in San Leandro, CA, is responsible for overseeing all aspects of milk processing operations. Requirements

• Two (2) or more years of leadership experience in a production environment.
• One (1) or more years of experience working with Lean Manufacturing principles.
• Strong leadership background with the ability to direct a diverse unionized workforce.
• Ability to manage and develop employees.
• Strong working knowledge of MS applications including Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) in all production processes.
• Monitor and maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards.
• Lead, supervise, and support production associates.
• Compose and deliver performance evaluations and corrective action notices.
• Train, monitor, and enforce quality control standards.
• Track, manage, and audit raw materials and finished goods inventory.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement and propose scalable solutions.
• Enforce and promote safety protocols and conduct regular safety training.
• Effectively collaborate with site cross-functional partners.
• Train new production employees and provide ongoing training.
• Address and resolve production-related issues promptly.
• Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and standards.
• Coordinate maintenance schedules for production equipment.
• Maintain accurate production records and reports.
