About The Position

The Production Operator role at US Beverage Packers LLC involves operating machinery and ensuring compliance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP). The operator will collaborate with maintenance and quality departments to maintain safe and efficient operations while adhering to quality standards throughout the manufacturing process.

Requirements

• High school diploma or G.E.D.
• At least three years of work experience in repairing manufacturing or packaging equipment is a plus.
• Flexibility for overtime when needed.
• Ability to work autonomously and use resources available to complete tasks timely.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Able to physically stand, bend, squat, and lift up to 30 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Operate machines in accordance with training and SOP requirements.
• Perform machine changeovers, cleaning, and setup as per SOPs.
• Ensure proper area and equipment cleanliness and setup in stipulated time.
• Ensure line clearance before initiating manufacturing activities in each area.
• Receive/transfer material from/to dispensing/manufacturing storage.
• Wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) as stated in the SOP before initiating process.
• Operate applicable equipment independently as per area of operation.
• Troubleshoot and make appropriate adjustments to equipment.
• Ensure adherence to quality standards during all stages of the manufacturing process.
• Complete manufacturing documents on time, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
• Train on all relevant SOPs and maintain compliance with related SOPs and cGMP.
• Perform duties through the proper, safe use of equipment according to Health & Safety procedures and Equipment Manuals.
• Be flexible to work extended hours to achieve manufacturing schedule when needed.
• Maintain discipline and comply with company policies and procedures.
