About The Position

The Production Staff - Linen Finisher at Mission Linen Supply is responsible for managing industrial laundry production flow activities under the guidance of the Production Supervisor or Manager. This full-time position involves operating press equipment, processing laundry, and ensuring safety and efficiency on the production floor.

Requirements

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
• Experience working with plant equipment/machinery highly desired.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to stand for long periods of time.
• Ability to lift and/or move up to 100 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Operate press equipment.
• Process laundry in established lot order.
• Maintain production floor distribution.
• Shake, sort by route and sequence by route while laying out items prior to pressing.
• Classify and lay out items for pressing, such as industrial shirts versus executive dress shirts.
• Separate soil pick-up tickets.
• Check for needed repairs on items.
• Lift garments and/or linen onto line storage system.
• Trolley garments and/or linen for truck pick-up.
• Load trollies into trailers.
• Ensure colleagues practice safety procedures at all times.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
