About The Position

The Plastic Injection Molding Technician is responsible for setting up and operating molding machines to produce high-quality plastic products. This role requires expertise in plastic injection molding processes, troubleshooting machine issues, and ensuring production efficiency while adhering to safety guidelines.

Requirements

• Expertise in plastic injection molding, tooling, and materials.
• Solid mechanical skills with strong problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Attention to detail and effective communication skills.
• Basic computer skills for report documentation.
• Ability to pass a background check.
• High school diploma or equivalent (required).
• 5+ years of experience in plastic injection molding.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with high-temperature materials (600 F +).
• Experience with 6+ axis robots.

Responsibilities

• Set up and fine-tune molding machines for smooth operation.
• Monitor production to ensure quality standards are met.
• Troubleshoot and resolve machine issues effectively.
• Assist with machine setups and changeovers as needed.
• Document production details and maintain accurate records.
• Follow all safety and company guidelines.
