About The Position

The Pest Control Technician at Pest Control Geeks is responsible for providing exceptional pest control services to customers while ensuring a positive experience. This role involves inspecting and diagnosing pest-related issues, educating customers on pest management techniques, and treating areas using integrated pest management (IPM) solutions. The technician will work with a pre-arranged schedule, utilizing company-provided vehicles and equipment, and will be part of a supportive team that values individual contributions.

Requirements

• Valid driver's license
• Compliance with Drug-free workplace policies
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Able to work a minimum of 40 hours per week
• Pass pre-employment criminal background check and drug screen
• Possessing clean driving record
• Personable nature with excellent customer interaction skills

Nice To Haves

• Prior experience in pest control (1 year preferred)

Responsibilities

• Inspect and diagnose pest-related issues for customers.
• Educate customers on pest findings and elimination techniques based on IPM solutions.
• Treat areas of the house using proper IPM techniques in various locations.
• Prepare service notifications for customers using in-house software on provided cell phones.
• Follow a pre-arranged schedule made by the office, completing jobs in a timely manner.
• Attend company meetings and training sessions to stay updated on industry trends and standards.
• Maintain company equipment with respect and ensure cleanliness and maintenance.
